Commission is not the same as your bonus

Two different things get called “the offer”. A commission is what the provider pays us for a signup — you never see it and it never changes what you pay. A signup bonus is what the provider gives you. We publish the bonus, with the steps needed to qualify for it, and we do not publish commission amounts because they are covered by partner agreements. When the two conflict, the page describes the bonus.

What a referral link cannot do

• It cannot move a score. Scores come from the six rated dimensions and the evidence behind them; nothing in our offer data is readable by the scoring code.
• It cannot buy a place in a ranking or a “best for” list. Position is earned by score, and only services that reached the top of the evidence ladder can be ranked at all.
• It cannot buy a listing. Services are listed because they matter to a relocant, not because they have a partner programme — most of the ones we list do not.
• It cannot remove a downside. Where a service is expensive, restricted or unverified, the page says so with or without a link.

Evidence gates money, not the other way round

A service carries a referral link only after it reaches the level where we would publish a score for it: every critical fact on file, two or more sources, at least one of them official, and no unresolved disagreement between sources. Below that level the link is withheld even when a partner programme exists. Where you see “no referral link here” on a profile, this is why.

What we record when you click

Outbound links go through /go/ on our domain, which redirects you to the provider. We record the service, the page you clicked from, the language and the destination host. We do not record your IP address, your browser, a cookie or any identifier — the question we need answered is which page earns, not who clicked.

Source links stay clean

Links to regulators, provider fee schedules and other evidence are never referral links and are never marked as sponsored. A citation we would not stand behind is not a citation.
